Herbert W Ogborne served on hospital ships in the Gallipoli / Dardanelles area during WW1.

Herbert William Ogborne , aged 19 years in 1914 served in the Merchant Navy during WW1 on hospital ships collecting injured from Gallipoli / Dardanelles area. This included HMS Nervasa and HMS Ferngarth. One of the ships he served on was sunk and he was in the water for some time.

Herbert was from Bristol UK, and later settled in Ontario, Canada.
