In the name of god amen, I Symon Ogborne of the Isle of Wight county in Virginia being very weake in body but of perfect mind and memorie, do make & ordaine this my last will & testament in manner and forme following (vizt)
Imprimis I bequeath my soul into the armes of Jesus Christ hoping through his merritts & mercie to obtaine everlasting life, and for my worldly goods I dispose of as followeth
Item I give & bequeath to my sonne Nicholas Ogborne all my wearing aparell in generall as linnen, wollin, shooes, stockings, hatts or capps and my rapier to be [given] to him immediatelie after my decease.
Item I give and bequeath yo my daughter Mary Ogborne a cow and a cowe calfe to be delivered her this spring and in case my said daughter depart this life before she be fourteen years of age, or married, then the said cow & calfe to returne to my sonne Nicholas above said or his heires. And in case no such heires of my sonne Nicholas then the said cattel to returne to my sonne Symont 0gborne.
Item I give & bequeath to my loving wife Lucie Ogborne my plantation during the time I have it shee paeing the rent & performing according to agreement & also my servant named Thomas Davis during his time by indenture and also the best bed & furniture I have and for the remainder of my whole estate, my debts being first paid as cattel, hoggs, household goods or chattels, of what nature condition or quallities for ever they are to be equally divided betwixt my lqving wife & children by her, vizt Symond,Elmor, Elizabeth & Katherine Ogborne and in case of mortalitie of any of my last fower children here in exprest their parte to returne to the survivor of them & their heires, and my will is that my fower last children be brought (up) out of their mother's estate
And I do hereby confirme this to be my last will and testament, with my hand and seale this 24th day of March 1668.

This will was proved in the open cort last held for the isle of Wight county the ninth day of Ferbuary 1669 by the oathes of Mr Tho: Taborer & Elizabeth Merritt and then recorded.
